We [Martha&Lucy] were thrilled to be one of the teams nominated to participate in the Snapchat Creative Council 2021 competition. Getting AR tools and creativity together to find a solution to a pressing issue.

 

BRIEF. To make GenZ realize the power of their digital skills in today's uncertain job market.

INSIGHT. It’s a confusing time for Gen Z’ers, they don’t know what to study, what job to get, or maybe they’re thinking of starting their own business… Who knows!

IDEA. “Snap Up your Future”. We created a filter that highlights users’ skills by doing something Gen Z’ers do all the time: tapping on their mobiles. By tapping on different parts of their selfie, Gen Z’ers could discover their untapped potential and swipe up to find more about possible future jobs/careers. We maximized existing tools on Snapchat, such as Maps and Public Profiles to share skills, creating the first Snapchat Business cARd, and putting talent and job opportunities on the map. 

CVs and cover letters are outdated. ‘Snap Up Your Future’ takes over.
